    Description

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Buyer within our Beauty team here at QVC UK it's a diverse role and when we say that no two days are ever the same we are not kidding

    There's a lot to get excited about as you will work with some great brands such as Molton Brown, L'Occitiane, Neom and many more, whilst helping us to constantly improve on our ranges.

    Reporting into the Buying Manager, you will build ranges to meet sales, margin and stock targets within a designated category of Beauty.

    Your Impact

  • You will source, select and secure a positioned and unique product portfolio for QVC to fit the long-term brand strategy, target market and meet sales targets ensuring the range is fresh and exciting for the customer.
  • You will negotiate the best possible cost prices and conditions of trade To work with the Planning, Category Merchandising, Digital and alternative channel teams to review product performance, plan and grow the product range
  • You will evaluate the vendor portfolio based on knowledge of market conditions and competitive environment. Regular visits to trade fairs and vendors.
  • You will remain current on wider business strategies.
  • You will implement Pricing Strategy for Category – Set initial price and margin following market and category insights.
  • To work with planning on inventory management following the OTB process.
  • Manage brand portfolio through lifecycle
  • Under the leadership of the Buying Manager you will support the recruitment and development of the team.

  • You will be analytical with experience in omni channel Beauty buying.
  • You will use Excel (can perform complex functions) to a good level
  • You will be expected to travel internationally in this role.
