- Carry out general servicing of vehicles and the MOT testing
- Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed; undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles as and when required
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required
- Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition
- Ascertain job requirements from the job card/estimate and record all time taken against the repair
- Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all Company procedures are followed
- Assist with general workshop loading as and when required
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician /Mechanical Inspector
- Qualified MOT Tester (essential)
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential)
- Full valid UK driving licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars (essential)
- For the insurance purpose you need to be over 21 years old and hold a driving licence for minimum 2 years (essential)
- You must own your own tools / basic start
