- Providing subject matter expertise and technical leadership within the areas of Marine Engineering Systems, and support to mission systems and aviation systems
- Contributing to the leadership and management of efficient implementation of in-service design change, update, and upgrade activities
- Reviewing and demonstrating that design intent has been achieved, and ensuring that design change is holistically integrated
- Providing leadership in determining product safety and environmental effect in the marine environment, and ensuring the integrity of the QEC Safety Case
- You will also be exposed to various opportunities to gain experience in working across different platforms and roles elsewhere in the wider warship support function
- Degree qualified in Mechanical / Marine Engineering and member of a relevant professional body working towards Chartered Engineer status, OR proven experience in the discipline
- Knowledge of marine auxiliary and platform systems

The QEC WTA Marine Systems Engineering team:
This team provides constant engineering support to the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers for all aspects of the waterfront support provided by the Class Management Team, including maintenance & upkeep, as well as the introduction of new capability. This team has a strong track record of professional development with support in achieving CEng accreditation.
