    The Administrative Services Centre - Team Lead is an integral part of Lathams Administration team. This role will be responsible for coordinating the service delivery of the Administrative Services Centre ("ASC"), monitoring all incoming client requests, and distributing workflow as appropriate, with the goal of maintaining an exceptional level of customer service, while leading, training, and developing the Administrative Service Centre Assistants, acting as the point of escalation and a subject matter expert. This role will be located in our Manchester office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
    Other key responsibilities include:

    • Coordinating the workflow and assigning tasks effectively to the ASC Assistants involving but not limited to expense and invoice processing, scheduling meetings, booking travel arrangements, and billing for internal clients across the Firm
    • Managing the daily operations of the ASC team, ensuring all work is completed on time and to the standard expected of a Centre of Excellence
    • Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication, cooperation, and teamwork.
    • Monitoring the performance of the team, providing feedback and coaching where necessary to support ongoing development and improvement.
    • Managing the team's workload, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring that workload is distributed evenly among team members, whilst continually reviewing work processes and workflow with the aim of achieving optimal efficiencies

    • Possess the ability to lead a team and foster a positive and collaborative working environment
    • Have knowledge and experience of workflow coordination, and a curiosity and an inclination toward continuous process improvement
    • Can demonstrate excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    And have:
    • Experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment
    • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and clients
    • GCSE level (or equivalent) including English and Maths required
