Product Development Assistant

Location:
East Molesey


Salary: 25,000


Duration:
Permanent

Hours: 8.30 to 5.00. Hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 days at home


The role will involve assisting the Product Development Manager in developing the product with both our UK and Far East suppliers.


Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous experience or someone who can demonstrate an understanding of the product development process.

Key Responsibilities of

  • Support the development of the product ranges so that they reflect the visual style of the brand and meet all standards
  • Be aware of and assist in the analysis of, seasonal trends, competitor activity and design direction to assist the Product and Design team to deliver innovative and commercial ranges
  • Assist with the development briefs for fragrances with UK based fragrance houses
  • Check regulatory information and carry out final checks on artworks ensuring accuracy
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with both UK suppliers and Far East factories, developing and fostering relationships
  • Collating product information for those in other teams that require it
  • Filling out and maintaining information files for products
  • Requesting, managing, and organising all samples for all purposes, including in house reviews, photoshoots, and shows/exhibitions
  • Conduct regular store visits and competitor analysis to develop your knowledge and relationships. Share feedback with the team

  • Ideally 12 years' experience in a similar role
