£15.50 p/hour = £32,240 + overtime

Zeal Recruitment has been selected to help a well-established, national M&E company recruit for a Multi-trade Operative on a permanent basis to join their team.

This role will cover the Birmingham area only, working in commercial and local authority domestic settings

Your duties as a Multi-trade Operative will include:

• Day to day repairs within Commercial and local authority domestic settings
• Kitchen Fitting & repairs – Carpentry skills essential
• Bathroom Fitting & repairs
• Plastering
• Plumbing & tiling skills
• Slabbing, fencing, roofing repairs
• Dealing with customers directly
• Working within a team where necessary

The Multi-trade Operative will ideally have:

• NVQ level 2 minimum in Carpentry, Plumbing or Plastering
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Asbestos Awareness – desirable
• Experience within Commercial & residential settings on reactive and planned repairs
• High standard of working

The successful Multi-trade Operative will be working for a large successful business from their Birmingham office, no day is the same, everyone likes to help each other, have a laugh all whilst getting the task at hand completed.

You will also receive a company van and fuel card, work wear, PPE, Phone, Tablet, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays and Pension contribution.

You will also be on call out rota where you will receive £150 standby fee and payment from door to door.
