    Description

    You will be joining a very close-knit team and a highly respected GP Training Practice with a fantastic local reputation.
    Four of the six GPs trained at the practice, such is their excellent retention and culture and they are now looking to recruit another 4-6 session GP to replace a departing GP Partner.
    GPs requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship, newly qualifying GPs and experienced GPs are all welcomed to apply. For those interested in Partnership, a 6-12 month view to Partnership is also a possibility.

    Salary - £10,500 - £11,000 per session plus indemnity and BMA contract

    Location - outskirts of Weston-Super-Mare

    The surgery -

  • Medium-sized GP Training Practice
  • All bar two of their GPs trained at the practice
  • Very sociable, friendly team who meet daily
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Mixed demographic - they are out of town so there are similar levels of affluence and deprivation
  • EMIS Web

    • Your role -

  • Salaried GP (optional view to Partnership available)
  • 4-6 sessions per week
  • 13 contacts per session though not all will require a F2F or phone-call
  • AskmyGP appointment system so GP in total control of appointment layout, however, as a small team they can still provide a defined template for those preferring more structure
    • Daily clinical meeting with whole clinical team
  • Virtually no home visits
  • Half day Duty only with no triage - only 18-20 contacts on days where you do an AM or PM duty session
  • No evenings required
  • Specialisms encouraged, women's health and men's health both high on their wishlist
