Interim Group CFO position now available at Top 50 UK law firm.
The role is cover the current incumbent who is moving internally on an interim basis.
Applicants will need to be experienced operating at FD/CFO/FC level of a law firm or a partnership environment.

This role will report into the firms FD and will have the Group Financial Controller and Group Reporting team reporting into it.

This role will initially be on the basis of
- 12 months, but could get extended beyond that. They are happy to look at hiring someone on a
Fixed Term Contract basis or Day Rate.

Specific duties include:

Financial communication with management and partners of the entire firm (12 offices internationally)
Active oversight of treasury and cashflow management of the group
Management of the relationship with the groups bankers
Management of the efficient and effective product ion of the management accounts and key stats
Efficient and effective production of the statutory financial statements for the group entity and all subsidiaries
Managing the relationship with the group auditors
Management of a group reporting team including the Group FC
Decision support for the partners and support functions, and implementing those decisions
Ensuring compliance with financial aspects of rules and regulations (sanctions & SRA)
Support to the wider finance function including those in the international offices
Management of t costs to budgets
Monitoring and improving the financial and management control environment within the group
Leading and facilitating change management or process improvement projects
Financial integration of new offices /businesses
Good understanding of the financial systems to be able to discuss and recommend improvements
Acting as the FD's deputy as and when required.

Experience/ Attributes needed:

Working in a very senior level of
an international law firm or partnership

Qualified ACCA/ACA
Experience working with finance teams across international locations
UK GAAP experience
Exceptional communication skills as you will be working very closely with all the partners, Managing Partner and teams internationally.

Hybrid working arrangement - 3x anchor days in the London office (Monday /Tuesday / Wednesday).
