We are looking for a proactive, engaging and organised coordinator to join the Cambridge Research Office Impact and Knowledge Exchange Team as a Project Coordinator.

The Impact and Knowledge Exchange Project Coordinator role supports the management and coordination of a number of important Institutional research impact and knowledge exchange projects and programmes.

In particular, the role will focus on a range of activities to support the University's UKRI funded Impact Acceleration Accounts, with particular attention on financial aspects.

The role will act as the main point of contact for projects; providing a consistent, constant and professional contact point to represent the impact and knowledge exchange team and coordinate the day-to-day administrative duties associated with impact and knowledge exchange activities.


As an experienced administrator, who is motivated by University research and the difference it can make in terms of impact and knowledge exchange, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of facts, principles, processes and general concepts related to research grant accounts, finance and administration, have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and have excellent communication and organisation skills.

Educated to degree standard/Level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience, you will be experienced using Microsoft Office packages particularly Excel.

Experience with the Cambridge University Financial System (CUFS) is desirable.


We are looking for someone who is able to work well in a team, and who enjoys working on a range of different projects.

Ideally you have experience in an administrative based role and are comfortable working in a busy office environment.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2025 in the first instance.
