    Description

    Job Title: Class 2 Driver

    Location: Newton Abbot

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Palletised Multidrop Driver to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to multiple locations within the designated area, providing excellent customer service and handling cash transactions as needed.

    Job Details:

    • Start Time: 4:30 AM, Monday to Friday
    • Rate of Pay: £13.16 per hour (based on £33k annual salary, 48-hour working week)

    Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to deliver palletised products to various customer locations.
    • Complete assigned delivery routes in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to schedule and customer requirements.
    • Provide excellent customer service, including friendly interaction with customers and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.
    • Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, following company procedures.
    • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance checks as required, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

    Requirements:

    • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
    • CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
    • Previous experience in multidrop delivery and handling palletised goods is preferred.
    • Excellent driving record and knowledge of road safety regulations.
    • Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
    • Good numerical skills for cash handling.
    • Flexibility to start early mornings and work Monday to Friday.
