Contract Scotland are delighted to be working with a prominent main contractor to source an experienced Planner to join their established team in Glasgow.

Our client has secured a strong pipeline of large projects across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial and MOD, and can offer continued work across the Central Belt of Scotland.

As a construction Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Liaising with commercial, operational and preconstruction teams to ensure projects are planned practically and efficiently.
Supporting bid teams in improving the quality and preparation of tenders.
Creating and presenting schedules of works.
Evaluating ongoing projects to provide recommendations and mitigation strategies.
Ensuring project programmes comply with regional standards and project strategy.

To be successful in this role you will be a strategic and motivated individual with demonstrable planning experience within a main contracting environment, ideally working on projects £15m+ in value.

You will have a working knowledge of contract law, construction technologies, resource management and industry practices.
