Contract Scotland are delighted to be working with a prominent main contractor to source an experienced Planner to join their established team in Glasgow.
Our client has secured a strong pipeline of large projects across a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial and MOD, and can offer continued work across the Central Belt of Scotland.
As a construction Planner, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects.You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Liaising with commercial, operational and preconstruction teams to ensure projects are planned practically and efficiently.
- Supporting bid teams in improving the quality and preparation of tenders.
- Creating and presenting schedules of works.
- Evaluating ongoing projects to provide recommendations and mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring project programmes comply with regional standards and project strategy.
To be successful in this role you will be a strategic and motivated individual with demonstrable planning experience within a main contracting environment, ideally working on projects £15m+ in value.
