    Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Cost & Commercial Analyst to join JLL's Work Dynamics business in a specific client account. The role will provide support to the following areas:

  • Supporting the hard service analyst with the review and control of engineering related maintenance cost.
  • Supporting the soft service analyst with the review and control of cleaning and security costs.
  • Supporting the commercial director with contract administration, claims, and other commercial matters.
  • Ad hoc support with cost and commercial matters.
  • This role is for an entry level analyst and will support multiple areas as part of staff development. Appointment to this role would suit:

  • A recent university graduate seeking to pursue a career in facilities management.
  • Someone employed in facilities management seeking a career change.
  • What this job involves

    Collaborative Stakeholder Relationships

  • Develop and manage collaborative partnering relationships with the client, the client's appointed suppliers, the departments occupying the client's sites, JLL's account team and other internal colleagues across the wider JLL business
  • Work closely with the client's FM services suppliers to help them resolve commercial challenges
  • Share commercial best practice across the client's FM services suppliers to improve the overall commercial service the client receives
  • Lead collaboration workshops and process review sessions to unlock potential cost saving opportunities, identify added commercial value and innovation across all the client's FM services suppliers, helping to maximise the commercial benefits the client sees from its supplier partners
  • Tapping into the client's digital platform to foster data-based decision-making with the client and client's soft services suppliers
  • Commercial & Cost Audit

  • Commercial assurance of for the costs and best value approach from the client's FM services suppliers for chargeable works.
  • Commercial assurance of monthly contractor applications for payment.
  • Commercial assurance of reactive coists.
  • Management of disputed costs.
  • Savings

  • Manage and support work with the client and client's FM services suppliers to find cost efficiencies and savings, (ie. real terms net spend reduction from the agreed baseline)
  • Support the value engineering process on the account.
  • Benchmarking

  • Support the benchmarking process.

  • Familiar with MS Office
