ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION

The team you will be a part of:

  • The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • To efficiently manage resources to ensure that all deliveries are dispatched in a punctual and costeffective manner whilst maintaining budgetary targets, through appropriate allocation of routes, drivers and mates.
  • To ensure successful delivery performance, through monitoring driver performance throughout the day and taking proactive remedial action as necessary to achieve targets.
  • Review and action feedback via the NPS system with drivers & mates.
  • To manage customer queries regarding failed deliveries in a courteous and professional manner and take prompt remedial action.
  • To maintain above 99.5% Attributable Service Level through effective communication with all staff of expectations and targets.
  • To promote the Company core values and behaviours.
  • To ensure full compliance of the hand held terminal, usage, start time and 3hour delivery adherence.
  • Manage first stage disciplinary situations.
  • To maintain accurate records on the Drive to provide clear, punctual and accurate reporting on key performance indicators to the Depot Manager and senior management team.

Minimum requirements:


  • Knowledge of industry legislation e.g. tachograph and driving hours regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of transport operations and legal responsibilities.
  • Basic awareness of health and safety legislation.
  • Experience of leading a small team would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in a customerfocused environment.

Preferred skills and experiences:


  • Clamp/fork truck Licence would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a highpressure, fastmoving environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Supervisory or management experience of working in a multidrop environment would be advantageous
