Join Macquarie's Commodities & Global Markets group as a Junior Front Office Business Analyst based in London.

In this role you will be part of a global team, working to deliver a new trading platform with focus on the Commodities & Repo desks.

In the Commodities & Global Markets Central division, we are proud of our high-performance culture, empowering innovation while maintaining a strong partnership to the businesses we support.

This is a great opportunity to gain insights into the Commodities& Global Markets businesses, including Commodities, FX, Rates and Credit Markets divisions.


A day in the life of this role will include:
Working with front office to gather their requirements for the new product screens, and gather feedback on legacy platforms
Driving improvements to the platform for both existing screens as well as those under development
Working with our Technology team to guide and direct members as they navigate the requirements and designs
Testing the new product screens and functions to ensure all requirements have been met

What skills will you use?

You will also have:

Prior experience as a Business Analyst or Technology Business Analyst, preferably in a financial institution.
Some understanding of commodities markets would be beneficial
Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
Ability to assimilate information and a curiosity to ask appropriate questions to develop business and functional requirements.
Clear and concise communication skills.
Excellent analytical capacity supported by an attention to detail.

A focus on high quality and timely delivery, well-developed process skills and the ability to prioritise, manage parallel tasks, and project deliverables.
