We are looking for an experienced_
temporary Financial Processing Officer_ to join this unique and exciting but extremely complex organisation based in the heart of London.


In this role as the _
temporary Financial Processing Officer - accounts payable_, initially for a 3-6 month assignment, with a high likelihood of an extension.

You will support their finance processing team with key activities thatincludes that includes all elements of accounts receivable and payable processing the organisation and its subsidiary companies.


Your daily duties will include:

  • Processing purchase invoices, expense claims, credit card transactions and other payment documents using correct coding and VAT analysis
  • Working to key monthend processes and working to monthend processing deadlines, maintaining schedules and timetables
  • Monitoring and managing debtor and creditor control accounts, ensuring payments are timely and all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Working with a team of Financial Officers to ensure that the resolution of complex queries or customer complaints
  • Providing accurate information for the annual statutory audits, both external and internal
  • Promoting a continuous improvement approach within the processing team to support and ensure high quality and streamlined processes and controls


It is essential that you have excellent systems skills including varied finance systems, including purchase to pay systems whilst being a competent user of Excel, a working knowledge of SAP would provide a distinct advantage.
