Days plus overtime which may include weekends

We are looking for a pro-active electrical bias maintenance engineer to carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance work.

With a strong focus on Health and Safety you will play a key role in keeping production moving on site through preventive maintenanceand effective management of breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment.

This position will suit a maintenance engineer, with commercial or manufacturing electrical maintenance knowledge/experience.

You will also be responsible for and willing to carry out other maintenance duties such as:


  • Carrying out and supporting other site equipment installations and removals.
  • Manage and oversee contractors visits to the site for external maintenance/repairs.
  • General building repairs which consist of basic Plumbing and Carpentry skills
  • Flexibility to cover call out.
Recording and reporting information is also key for this role to ensure routine checks and calibrations are carried out. You will need to be familiar with and able to complete preventative maintenance programs to current regulatory requirements regarding EnvironmentalHealth & Safety (EHS) and engineering legislation

To be considered for this role you will need the following:

  • Electrical qualification at City & Guilds Level 2&3 or equivalent
  • City and Guilds: BS or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • City and Guilds: 2391 Inspection, Testing, Verification
  • Any Plumbing, or Building qualifications would be advantageous
  • Maintenance experience within a similar workshop environment (desirable)
  • Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making.
  • IT skills with the ability to use the standard Microsoft packages.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable)
