    Assistant Headteacher

    Firwood High School is a successful 11-19 special school meeting the needs of children with severe and complex learning difficulties.

    Due to continued growth, our Trustees are looking to appoint an outstanding Assistant Headteacher who is passionate about supporting students with a range of special educational needs.

    Ø Demonstrate and evidence that you are an outstanding leader of learning within the classroom and beyond?

    Ø Evidence that you can build and sustain excellent professional relationships with students, parents and carers, staff and other external partners?

    Ø Demonstrate a rigorous knowledge of safeguarding principals from both child and adult safeguarding frameworks?

    Ø Build on existing strong links with providers across Bolton and the wider locality?

    Ø Be solution focussed, built on strong leadership pedagogy being both strategic in outlook and highly personable?

    Ø Maintain and build upon strong links across the school and be a dynamic member of our Senior Leadership Team?

    Ø To support and promote the wider ethos that is Woodbridge Trust?

    Ø Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams that include, health and social care.

    Contract: Full Time & Permanent
    Start Date: 1 st September 2024
    Leadership Scale: L12 – L16 £61,882 - £68,400 per annum
