    CLINICAL FELLOW (ST1+ level) in EMERGENCY MEDICINE

    FIXED TERM POST – 12 months – 6th August 2024 to 5th August posts)

    Applications are invited for a Clinical Fellow (ST1+ level) in Emergency Medicine in Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary. The post is to fill current vacancies and to allow us to deliver our current model of Emergency Medicine across Tayside.

    The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and innovative team to further enhance the provision of Emergency Medicine at Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary. NHS Tayside has developed an Unscheduled Care system that proactively manages unscheduled ED attendance thereby minimising surges in demand and maintaining good patient flow, enabling consistent achievement of the national 4 hour standard.

    Consultant supervision and support will be given so the successful applicants can develop into senior clinical decision makers managing the full spectrum of Emergency Medicine presentations. Working at ST1+ level equivalence over time is anticipated.

    This rota is a full shift pattern and includes weekend and out of hours working.
