- Implement planned maintenance programmes to maximize efficiencies.
- Analyze data to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Diagnose and repair breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineering Team on key business projects.
- Develop and maintain PLC/Network standards.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in managing change processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Minimum HNC level education in Electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Engineering control and automation.
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 PLC's and TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of Profibus/ASIbus and Ethernet networking systems.
- Experience with Servo Drives and Variable Speed Drives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively and adapt to new technologies.

What we're looking for:
We are seeking an Electrical Control Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our automation technology. In this position, you will contribute to optimizing production lines and ensuring operational efficiency. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, as well as implementing maintenance schedules to improve overall performance.
