As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a Stores Operator


Responsible for picking kits to target and delivering them to the production floor, Conducting Cycle Counts and Stock Takes both annually, quarterly along with weekly sanity checks.

You would be working withing a team of 5 employees.


Key Responsibilities:


Goods Inwards

  • Receipt all goods delivered to the company
  • Reject items sent back to suppliers
  • Match and transact receipts and rejects against purchase order on the ERP system
  • Notify purchasing of any discrepancies with deliveries

Stores

  • To accurately perform stock transactions and record on the ERP system
  • Kitting Work Orders to live work to list
  • Adhoc requests for stock items
  • Transacting stock between locations
  • Ensure good housekeeping in the stores areas
  • Perform cycle counts and annual stock takes
  • Assist other store employees with their work
  • Ensure the kitting system is running correctly and Production is receiving a free flow of kits.
  • Actively take part in all stock taking activities.

  • Ensure the safety of you and others when moving and storing parts, following manual
- handling guidelines.

What you need to succeed?

Essential Criteria:


  • Ability to work unsupervised and also as part of a wider team
  • Basic understanding if Microsoft Office to include Office, Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Working within a fast pace environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communications and numerical skills; written and verbal
  • Previous experience of working within another stores environment

Desirable Criteria:


  • Educated to either GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English
  • Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards
  • Conform to 6S
  • Worked in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is
- completed
