About Our Client:
The client is globally renowned in their field and are highly established.
They are based on a site close to local amenities and public transport links and operate a flexible hybrid working policy with the requirement to work in the office on a Tuesday.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Balance sheet reconciliations (all balance sheet codes and balance sheet reviews)
- Some inventory work (monthly additions and monthly reporting)
- The monthly dashboard (using Power BI to check that departments are happy with what's on their asset register)
- Monitoring inboxes
- Responding to queries
- Assisting in the monthly capitalisation process
The Successful Applicant:
The Accounts Assistant will be/have:
- Must be experienced at bank reconciliations and able to do their own reconciliations independently
- Must have an understanding of auditor's requests
- Capital fixed assets experience is an advantage but not essential
- Oracle R12 experience is an advantage but not essential
- AAT studier an advantage but not essential
- Immediately available/on short notice of 2 weeks or less
