Smoking Cessation Clinics and Groups Delivering smoking cessation sessions via group and one-one interventions in a variety of settings across the city utilising motivational interviewing and behaviour change skills Providing clinical advice to clients and partners and other professionals Undertaking home visits where required Plan and deliver stop smoking treatment sessions via one-to-one counselling/interviewing predominately in a hospital setting (across all UHL hospital sites) Coordinate with secondary care specialist advisors to plan and deliver UHL staff training.

60% Casework & Data Management Managing a casework of clients and monitoring their progress to ensure it is managed effectively in order to prevent relapse Making onward referrals to internal and external services to support clients to further enhance their health and wellbeing e.g.

debt management services, housing support or other lifestyle related support services Maintaining accurate records on the client record management systems 25% Service and Self Development:
Participating in ongoing training, learning and professional development as required to understand and impart best practice Contributing to improvements in the group work offer by assisting with the development of new sessions, materials and interventions 10% Carry out other miscellaneous duties associated with the role
