Rate: £570/d - Umbrella only

Role purpose / summary

• Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS
• Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift
• Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control
• Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling - given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs
• Extensive experience of Linux, including scripting, etc.

Key Skills/ requirements

• Experience of deploying to Azure
• Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment
• We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plus
• AWS as initial hosting provider
• Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes
• Apache Jena
• Elastic
• PostGIS
• Kafka
• Apache NiFi
• AWS Cognito
• HTTP REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces
• Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as React
