Description
Hi, my name is Sarah and I am the Community Team Manager for our community team within Children, Family and Young People's services here at NSFT.
Having recently relocated to Norwich I wanted to share my experience so that you to will consider a move to Norfolk into the roles I have in my team.
It is always difficult to move to a new area and to a new team, I have received a really warm welcome and have been really impressed that I have been given the opportunity to make a difference, to put my own spin on things and the role has been moulded to suit me and my skill set.
We work hard to ensure that from the very moment people access our services to the moment they leave their care will be outstanding.
A role which will challenge your thinking, expand your knowledge and connect with your heartDue to an increase in funding, we are advertising for multiple roles within the Central Youth teams. Full time and part time applicants will be considered.
Whilst experience working with children and young people would make you perfectly suited to this role, we are really open to welcoming people from clinical backgrounds who have experience in other areas of mental health.
We understand that you will be able to bring with you a wealth of skills and experience to the team and would welcome ways of thinking.
We are looking for people to join us with enthusiasm, optimism, fresh ideas and energy. We will expect you to want to work clinically but be equally as comfortable being part of strategic decision making.
We are looking for a dedicated mental health professional with either Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy qualification. We would love to hear from you if you have experience in working with people who suffer with mental health difficulties and you have at least 12 months post qualification experience in a mental health setting.
We want you in our team if you share our values and core beliefs. If you want to work in an environment of mutual respect, transparency, integrity and collaborative working we are the team for you.
We are an improving Trust, with ambitious aspirations and pushing ahead with exciting transformation work.We have strong, established nursing networks coupled with an exceptional leadership team who will ensure you are truly cared for and cared about.
I had not realised how beautiful Norfolk was until I moved here. The people are warm and welcoming and I've found some amazing restaurants in Norwich. I have felt the benefits to my wellbeing living in such a beautiful part of the county.
There will be so many things you don't know or don't always hear about Norfolk, Norwich is vibrant, diverse, quirky and original but only a stone's throw from the sea, the rugged countryside and the beautiful beaches.
We will expect you to want to work clinically but be equally as comfortable being part of strategic decision making.
