As a Business Support Officer in our team, you'll play a pivotal role in providing a professional and efficient execution of security documentation.
We're the ones who ensure the Bank remains safe and secure and who deliver a superior customer experience to our lending customers across Business Direct, Commercial and Corporate, Making Them Happier about Money.
We'll ask you to- Perform complex duties relating to the instructing, servicing and maintenance of business lending security, with a level of interpretation of Policy and Procedures e.g. receiving and checking deeds, discharging security, completing complex requests from Bank and customer's solicitors linked to security.
- Support Relationship Managers to deliver accurate and professional documentation to customers, ensuring the Bank's position is protected and credit/operational risk is minimised.
- Delivering a superior customer experience to Business Banking business customers.
- Analyse a suite of reports ensuring security data is up to date and accurate.
- A strong Customer Service ethic with a focus on excellent customer outcomes
- A good working knowledge of business lending security and the associated processes e.g. instruction of security documentation, security establishment and maintenance
- Attention to detail with the ability to approach tasks with care and diligence to adhere to the Banks policies and get tasks right first time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain quality interactions within the organisation and with customers, solicitors etc
- The ability to deliver high quality work in line with policy and regulatory requirements
- A track record in seeking ideas to improve work practices and eliminate waste through continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of SAM / BLP / iCAM would be an advantage but not essential
- Knowledge of business banking products and policies
