    TheRole:

    We are looking to recruit aSenior Project Planner to join our growing team. Reporting to theProject Planning Manager you will be responsible for overseeing theplanning and execution of complex projects ensuring they arecompleted on time within budget and to the desired qualitystandards.

    The key responsibilities of the roleare:

    • Developing and implementingproject plans and schedules based on employerrequirements.
    • Analysing and sequencing projectactivities to ensure logicalscheduling.
    • Achieving contractual milestonesand optimising costs.
    • Identifying improvementopportunities in project planningprocesses.
    • Coordinating with teams for projectupdates and integrating thirdpartyplans.
    • Preparing regular reports and performingquality checks on plans and schedules.
    • Managingproject risks and developing contingencyplans.
    • Communicating project progress tostakeholders and senior management.
    • Mentoringjunior project planners and teammembers.
    • Assisting in developing projectmanagement processes and supporting other departments asneeded.
    • Aligning project plans with bestpractices and business philosophy.
    • Continuouslyenhancing expertise and technicalskills.

    ThePerson:

    The ideal candidate willhave a proven track record in project planning and management withstrong analytical and leadership skills.

    Thesuccessful candidate will hold a degree in Engineering orAnalytical Science or equivalent experience. You will havedemonstrated experience of planning in High Voltage Grid ConnectionProjects. You will be proficient in Project Life Cycle and Riskmanagement with knowledge of Contract management (FIDC &NEC) related to schedule management.

    The idealcandidate will be skilled in Planning Software (e.g. Smartsheet MSProject Primavera P6). Advanced IT skills are required includingMicrosoft Office Suite SharePoint and Outlook. You will be anexcellent communicator with exceptional organisational skills andthe ability to handle sensitive informationdiscreetly.

    Ideally the role holder will haveexperience in programme/portfolio management proven projectreporting skills and a comprehensive knowledge of projectdevelopment phases.
