Job Overview:

Working as part of the estimating team your role will be to provide excellent service to our clients. The role will require you to estimate lighting opportunities/tenders across private and public sector clients.


Main Duties

  • Study lighting drawings, and Lighting inquiries
  • Build pricing options for proposals
  • Proficient in preparing return on investment proposals
  • Work with and support stakeholders in preparation of RFI and RFQ proposals
  • Prepare Lighting proposals based on client's requirements
  • Propose alternative lighting products (cross specification)
  • Maximise any commercial opportunity that may arise during and after the tender period
  • Technical ability and understanding of lighting and electrical services
  • The production of accurate tenders in the relevant time periods

What we are looking for:


  • Knowledge of lighting control (wired and wireless) an advantage although not essential.
  • Good knowledge of lighting product types
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and office
  • Able to manage own workload
  • Clean driving licence
  • Flexible working hours
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Adapt to technical changes within the industry and attend training courses should they be required.
  • Collaborative working within a highly motivated Team.
  • Develop and grow with the business.
  • The job holder may be required to undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required of him/her in the post and department mentioned above, or in a comparable post in the Company
