    The governors of St. Michael's. C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Reception class teacher to be part of a dedicated staff team in our culturally diverse school.

    We are looking for a candidate who:-

    -Is an excellent EYFS practitioner who is passionate about the Early Years and willing to go above and beyond for our children

    -Has experience of teaching/undertaken teaching practice in the EYFS

    -Excellent knowledge of how young children learn best and knowledge of the EYFS framework

    -Is committed to a play based approach and to ensuring our children receive the best start to their school journey

    -Is passionate about outdoor play and the benefits this has for children

    -Be creative and able to inspire learning opportunities for pupils in a stimulating learning environment

    -Is a dedicated team player who will share responsibilities within the Reception class team

    -Has high expectations of all areas of school life and themselves

    -Strives to ensure all children make excellent progress

    -Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    -Is happy and enthusiastic

    -Is committed to working in close partnership with parents, governing body and the wider community

    -Is committed to the development of the Christian ethos whilst representing our multi faith ethos

    Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
