Maintenance Planner / Maintenance Scheduler

£16 - £20 per hour

- 6 Month Contract

Our client based in the Mold area is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Planner / Maintenance Scheduler to join their team.

The duration of the contract is - 6 months.

Performance Objectives

Using the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module within SAP, you will organise and maintain SAP PM work orders, and participate in the upkeep of the SAP-PM structure.
You will also support the Engineering department on a daytoday basis with contract management, shift management, and annual Engineering compliance schedules.
Participate in updating/creating Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Items and Task lists
Coordinates Preventative Maintenance activities requiring downtime to minimize machine downtime while maximizing maintenance opportunities
Plan/schedule all preventive & corrective maintenance activities. Support Senior Engineering Team in creating requisitions and ordering required parts for preventive & corrective maintenance activities as applicable
Manages, Coordinates, and schedules contractor activities in the performance of Preventive Maintenance & repair of equipment
Maintain an effective auditing process of completed PM's. Follow up/review completed PM for notes/improvements to ensure planning effectiveness
Responsible for creating, distributing and reviewing Weekly PM schedule, Weekend maintenance schedule and 3 monthly PM forecast
Responsible for the release, printing and distribution of work orders.
Coordinates all Engineering statutory checks and support the Senior Engineering Team at meetings where required
The job holder must be able to judge production versus maintenance plan and how to best plan engineering preventative maintenance to maximize efficiency versus machine maintenance
Monitor maintenance performance and compliance by updating KPI suite.

Person Specification

Experience working within a fastpaced Manufacturing Engineering department
Significant experience with SAP PM or other CMMS solution
Knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes.
A strong mechanical/electrical aptitude is required.
