    Responsibilities

    The Principal and Senior Supportability Engineers (ARM) roles are key roles working on a strategically important programme. The role will play a key part in developing the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) solution for a new build Warship programme for an international customer.

    This is a full-time role, with a flexible working location however regular travel to sites in Rosyth, Plymouth or Bristol is required as well as possible international travel to our customer facilities (Sweden).

    Accountable to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager, the primary purpose of the Senior Supportability Engineer (ARM) role is to conduct availability, reliability and maintainability analysis / modelling, and to develop ILS data, artefacts and documentation including:

  • Reliability Block Diagrams,
  • Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA),
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM),
  • Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.
  • Also support and provide inputs into ILS related activities covering:

  • Level of Repair Analysis (LORA),
  • Maintenance and Operating Task Analysis (MTA & OTA),
  • Planned Maintenance Documentation,
  • Technical Maintenance Plan,
  • Logistic Support Analysis Record (LSAR), and
  • Technical Publications.
  • This will involve working closely with our partner SAAB, the Swedish Navy customer, internal stakeholders, and supply chain to deliver the associated ILS artefacts and deliverables

    Qualifications

    This role requires the following competences, experience and qualifications:

    Operating at Principal Engineer level

    Experienced in ILS, Support and/or Programme roles.

    Experienced at using ARM modelling software.

    Prior experience in a major shipbuilding/support programme at Senior level.

    Competency in verbal & written communications at Exec/Board level.

    Customer facing experience is beneficial.

    Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (and/or equivalent through qualifications and experience).

    Professionally registered engineer at IEng or CEng level or willingness to work towards.
