21.5 hours per week

3 days 9am - 12:30pm

2 days 9am - 3:00pm

St Chad's Church in Wales Voluntary Aided School wishes to appoint a Teaching and Learning Assistant to support a pupil within the school.

The position will support a KS2 pupil through the school ethos of Ready Respect, Safe, thus encouraging good behaviour and attitudes to learning.

The position will work on a one to one basis with a pupil who needs 1:1 support.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, your job will be to work alongside the Class Teacher, to enhance, and enrich the learning of the pupil in your care.

- have relevant qualities gained from working in a variety of different situations
- support the child during playtimes and lunchtime.

Experience, I require:

Experience of working with children either in a school setting or another relevant setting
Experience of dealing with a variety of issues relating to supporting pupils

- a commitment to supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
