You will be located in our Teesside office where our main UK activities are coordinated and will be part of the wider European HR Team, working closely with the Operations Teams ensuring all recruitment needs, shore and offshore, are met.

Our employees are our most valuable asset and are at the very core of our business, the successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time, ensuring that Svitzer remains a competitive player in the towage labour market.
The role mostly will be based in Middlesborough, but flexibility in terms of a hybrid working can be discussed at interview stages.
There will also be heavy requirement for travel across the UK as well as internationally on occasion.Carrying out talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans.
Involvement in employment branding initiatives.
Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
E Workday, Cintra, Wenass etc.
Working closely with the crewing department to ensure offshore recruitment needs are understood and met.
Assist in employee retention and development.
Proven experience as Talent or Recruitment officer or fast paced recruitment role
Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
Understanding/knowledge of offshore workforces and recruitment would be beneficial.
