The Role
We are looking for a Governance Assistant to provide administrative support to the Head of Governance and Governance Team.

The Governance team currently comprises a Head of Governance, a Governance Manager and a Paralegal.

The team sit within the wider Legal department and works closely with the Performing Right Society Limited (PRS) board directors (known as the Members' Council), the PRS for Music Limited board directors (known as the Board), senior management and other members of PRS.

The Governance function is currently taking on new responsibilities and is seeking to expand the team with a second Governance Manager and a Governance Assistant.


Responsibilities:

As our Governance Assistant, some of your day to day duties will include.

  • Supporting the Governance Team by providing company secretarial administrative support to the organisation and servicing of Members' Council, Board, Committees, Subgroups and other meetings as may be required, including scheduling and diary management.
  • Supporting preparations for the Annual General Meeting and Members' Council Ballot including scheduling using relevant software.
  • Supporting the onboarding of new directors and collation of induction and training materials.
  • Supporting _Know Your Customer_ processes, collate information and liaise with notaries.
  • Maintaining the Corporate Calendar, the Governance Annual Planner, and other schedules, lists and board resources.

About you:

  • Strong organisational skills and a good understanding of Governance. (ICSA / Chartered Governance Institute qualification or part qualification or Paralegal experience desirable)
  • Previous experience of and ability to work in a high volume role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy at all levels of work with good attention to detail.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple and as follows:

  • First stage interview virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Our London Bridge Hub is based within Hays Galleria and overlooks the River Thames. When you see the view, we are sure you will want to join us in our collaborative working space
