Lead Developer

An exciting opportunity to work for a leading financial services company in the UK as a lead developer is available.

This is a flexible hybrid role with the office being based in Cardiff.

As part of the expansion of their team, they're looking for a Fullstack developer/lead.

Having a keen interest in emerging technologies, but also having a knowledge of when to introduce them and when to use existing tools to get the job done is an importantaspect of the role.

Key responsibilities:

- ?Drive solution development using Micro services architecture on cloud environment.

Experienced in business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement.
Develop backend services, ideally using?Python / NodeJS, PostgreSQL / DynamoDB?and?Serverless. Develop modern?frontend?apps, ideally using?TypeScript / React. Design?REST APIs.?

Skills required:

Extensive experience in software development. Relevant experience in Python, NodeJS and Java technologies.
Good knowledge of version control (Git/SVN/AWS Code Commit).
Handson experience in UI development with React JS/Node JS.
Comfortable working on Headless CMS architecture.
Strong handson development using REST, Web services and API development.
Experienced with PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and other relational/NoSQL databases.
You are comfortable working with cloud infrastructure.
