Summary
We are looking for an Examinations and Data Administrator to join our Sixth Form Team.


You will assist the Principal and Vice Principals of Sixth Form by undertaking a range of clerical and administrative tasks with particular responsibility for sixth form Examinations, assessment and information.

The role involves working across a wide range of stakeholders, including Harris Federation Sixth Form and external agencies engaged with Examinations, assessment and information.

It is important that the post holder conducts the business of the Principal's office in a professional manner and conveys a positive image of the federation at all times.

Main Areas of Responsibility
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Examinations, assessment, careers, UCAS and destinations process for students and staff across the Federation


This will include:

  • Supporting receiving and tracking examination papers from awarding bodies
  • Distribution of Examination material to satellite sites for Harris Sixth Form
  • Collection of Examination scripts from satellite sites and collation at Crystal Palace
  • Supporting sending completed scripts back to awarding bodies
  • Preparing results distribution documentation
  • Processing and distribution of examination certificates received from awarding bodies to Examinations Officers at satellite sites
  • Supporting with the administration of the mock examinations for Harris Sixth Form including quality assurance and moderation
  • Assisting the Sixth Form Head of Logistics with data entry into MIS
  • Assisting the Sixth Form Head of Logistics with Sixth Form student learning aims on MIS
  • Collation and dissemination of reports to staff and students
  • Supporting the preparation of data analysis reports
  • Tracking student retention data
  • Creating and tracking cross site charging reports
  • Covering elements of exams officer duties in a contingency capacity
Aspects of the role relevant to the general running of the 6th form Federation will include:

  • Updating and maintaining 6th form federation policies and procedures documentation
  • Managing 6th form reception and info account
  • Ensuring the provision of a firstrate customer service both internally and externally
  • Attending weekly team meetings to ensure smooth running of programmes
  • Providing data and analysis to academies and HSF leadership
  • Attendance and support at sixth form events as required
  • Management of confidential material, including adherence to GDPR

Qualifications & Experience
We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms and Teams.
  • A flexible approach and the ability to be an effective team player
  • The ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders, including staff and students
  • The ability to work under pressure, to meet targets and to work with minimum supervision.
  • The confidence and initiative to lead the administration of exams and data processes, for example when advising and supporting staff and students
  • Willingness to learn and to receive training where appropriate
