    Job Title: Internal Sales Engineer


    We're excited to be partnering with a leading expert in the design and production of high-power electrical equipment that plays a critical role in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. Their innovative solutions are essential for various industries such as industrial automation, marine, telecommunications, and rail transport.



    The Role:

    As an Internal Sales Engineer at our company, you will play a key role in driving the technical aspect of the sales process. You will act as a bridge between customers and our Contracts/Engineering teams, demonstrating a deep understanding of our products. Your contribution will be vital in building strong customer relationships, addressing technical inquiries, providing accurate quotes, and identifying innovative solutions to meet their needs.



    Responsibilities:

    • Engage with customers through various channels to comprehend their needs.
    • Create cost-effective and innovative solutions that align with customer requirements.
    • Generate detailed and timely quotations/tenders and ensure successful order acquisition.
    • Maintain a high level of expertise in our products and their applications.
    • Offer pre-sales technical support and educate customers on our products.
    • Facilitate efficient order processing and information transfer within departments.
    • Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed and resolving issues promptly.
    • Keep detailed records of interactions and activities.
    • Identify and pursue new business prospects.
    • Conduct occasional site and customer visits.
    • Collaborate with internal departments for seamless operations.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to understand their needs.


    Skills and Experience:

    • HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
    • Prior experience in a related role.
    • Customer-centric with excellent communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to understand technical data.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Self-motivated, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
    • Degree in electrical, electronic, or control engineering.
    • Familiarity with working with large OEMs, contractors, or international clients.
    • Experience in high-power or high-voltage applications is a plus.
