£20,525 - £21,497 per year

The Environment Service, Pitlochry


You will operate primarily as a lone worker however you may be required to work as part of a team as the situation requires.

Duties will include the cleaning of the toilets, replenish paper products and soap dispensers as required. Collecting money from members of the public and reconciling same.

Responsible for the security of the premises. Committed to customer care and quality service delivery.

You are required to be available to work on a standby basis working additional hours outside normal working hours, including weekends, as part of a rota with other staff in the performance of various works required by managers.

Such works are usually planned in advance but may also have been unforeseeable in which case short term availability maybe required.

You must be able to carry out the physical demands of the post. You must be able to complete paperwork associated with the post eg timesheets, work schedules, maintenance records etc. A working knowledge and experience of computers/ smart phones would also be beneficial. A cat B driving licence is desirable but not essential.

The Environment Service has moved from the traditional mon-fri shift patterns, this post is 3 day rolling shift pattern.

To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and healthy. You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.
