Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

(EHS Manager)

The Opportunity


We are a cleaning, security and soft services business operating from regional offices UK wide, serving clients in sectors that include: Commercial, Corporate, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Manufacturing and Education.

As a result of additional investment in our Health & Safety department we are currently looking for an EHS Manager to provide confidential and professional operational support to the SHEQ team, contributing to the smooth running of EHS Compliance for theNorth & Midlands, ensuring the quality standards are kept high throughout the region's portfolio (Security & Cleaning)


The Package
£40-£42k basic

The Essential Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Legal awareness of relevant HSE legislation specific or any other relevant acts ofparliament.
  • Experienced in ISO ManagementSystems (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • Auditing Skills.
  • Experience of conducting riskassessments.

The Role of the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

  • Conducting Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Audits across the region (North & Midlands) allocating, actioning, and monitoring EHS interventions via our ECAT auditing portal.
  • Ensure the regionals chemical safety process is managed in line with COSHH legislation and ISO.4501 standards.
  • Coordinate control for all Accidents, Incidents, Near Misses investigations for all locations line with ISO.45001 standards, insurance requirements, and company protocols.
  • Ensure that all Risk Assessments (RAMS), HS Manuals, HS Training Materials, HS documentation is in line with Company ISO and sitespecific requirements.
  • Provide on the ground EHS support to a Key Account food manufacturer site & cover as and when required.
  • Provide EHS support, advice and guidance for all external audits (ISO) and accompany external auditor during regional schedule.
  • Provide general team support for EHS compliance, in line with Company policies and procedures.
  • Provide monthly reports for EHS Compliance
  • SLI's, H&S, eCAT.
  • Support the SHEQ director withcontrol and compliance of Environmental standards in line with ISO.14001 across the portfolio.
