- Previous experience in Supply Chain/Logistics management
- Experience in a large, blue-chip company (preferably FMCG)
- Strong stakeholder management skills – able to build relationships and influence colleagues across Europe
- Proven experience in Continuous Improvement
- Experience managing cost-saving programs
- Keen to make strategic improvements across the business
- Degree level qualification would be advantageous
- 3rd Party Logistics experience
- Salary up to £72,000

-About the role
We're looking for a confident, engaging Logistics Transformation Manager to join our Recycling division and lead our divisional logistics transformation programme across the UK and Europe. You will provide support to managers and key stakeholders across the DS Smith Recycling business, and will use your experience to lead logistics improvement activities and drive value for the business.
This is a brand new role, giving you the freedom to assess the business and develop a transformation plan based on opportunities that you identify before working with logistics colleagues to set priorities going forward. The primary aim will be to provide structure and focus throughout the division on all aspects of logistics management including strategy, processes, costs and sharing of best practice across the different countries in which we operate.
We'll be asking you to travel around our European sites to really understand the whole operation and to work with leaders on implementation, and then provide support and mentorship so that operational excellence can be achieved.
