Location: EX5 Area, Exeter

Salary: £16 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:15pm

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's team based in the EX5 area of Exeter. As a Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will play a crucial role in waste management operations, ensuring the safe and efficient collection and disposal of waste materials.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 2 dustcart vehicle to collect waste materials from designated routes.
• Safely manoeuvre the vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of waste materials as required.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the vehicle.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving license with CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience as a dustcart driver is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Must possess high visibility clothing and safety boots.
