    The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join a Civil Engineering Business, who offer services within the nuclear sector.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Identify environmental opportunities and financial/programme/reputational risks.
    Understand legal and client requirements related to environmental sustainability issues.
    Produce environmental documentation and deliverables.
    Develop mitigation measures for environmental risks with project team.
    Provide leadership to environmental and sustainability team.
    Implement and report on monitoring and audit programs.
    Collaborate with client, designers, and third parties.
    Promote positive environmental culture and behaviour change.
    Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and subcontractors on environmental management.
    Provide on-site advice and support for environmental management.
    Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
    Investigate and address environmental incidents.
    Stay informed about changes in standards and legislation.
    Deliver environmental training and reports.
    Assist with assurance activities and external audits.
    Develop key performance indicators and management reports.
    Ensure compliance with licences/permits/consents

    What you need to succeed:
    Member of environmental professional body
    Understand environmental legislation and impact mitigation.
    Experienced with managing environmental risks and impacts.
    Collaborative work approach for project success
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    Commercial awareness and proficiency in MS Office
    Full UK driver's license and experience with permits/consents Desirable qualities/experience:
    Coordinate and oversee teamwork.
    Manage environmental risks in concreting works sector
