    Director of Partnerships, London Contract Type: Permanent Location: West Ham Lane, Stratford Persona: Agile Salary: London Grade 13 - Competitive depending on experience Closing date: Interview date: To be confirmed INTERNAL ONLY VACANCY - THIS VACANCY IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO EMPLOYEES OF THE L&Q GROUP AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES. Utilise their well-established stakeholder skills to maintain strategic oversight of the CEO's engagement programme with senior level contacts such as Local Authorities, the Social Housing Regulator, GLA, central Government, politicians, G15 etc.

  • Be able to understand the Chief Executive's priorities and agenda, making informed judgements on partnership activities and engagement to influence agendas and develop, initiate and maintain effective collaborative strategies.
  • Lead on and represent L&Q at local and national events, collaborating closely with the Director of Communications to maximise effective external affairs and press relation activities, and also on relevant internal events and CEO led communication opportunities.
  • Person Specification To be successful in this role, you will have a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework in which we operate. You must be able to demonstrate proven experience of managing a wide range of senior level stakeholders, internally and externally, at a strategic and operational level. An advanced level of knowledge of local, regional and national political machinery is required which will have been gained through working with Local Authorities, relevant Social Housing bodies, London Councils and other relevant organisations and individuals such a national and local politicians. Ideally you will have experience of leading on engagement at CEO office level, with experience in aligning partnerships and activities with CEO office priorities and agendas.You will have excellent and demonstrable communication, negotiation and influencing skills as well as experience creating and delivering presentations to wide-ranging audiences including Exec and Board level.
