    Nijhuis Saur Industries UK/Eire Ltd, Wallsend , UKSummary:The ICT Support Technician will be a key member of the ICT Team providing remote support to all employees across the UK, offering technical assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving IT issues.

    Responsibilities will range from 1st line support, managing end user devices, through to assisting in implementation of bespoke IT projects.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Be an active and supportive member of the ICT team, working in collaboration and autonomously to meet the needs of the organisation.
    • Act as first line response for daily ICT requests through the online helpdesk software and dealing with any queries, escalating requests or jobs to relevant other members the ICT team as required.
    • Maintain and update the Helpdesk knowledge base.
    • Using the Group's remote access software to manage and deal with basic 1st level requests to provide remote support to end users.
    • Maintain the hardware and software asset registers.
    • Managing the build, configuration & issue and return of IT devices to & from end users.
    • Manage the resolution of hardware issues through manufacturers or 3rd party suppliers.
    • Flexibility and ability to visit other Group sites to provide support, training or assist with hardware/software installations when required.
