Business Analyst (FX)

4-5 years experience

Contract till End of the year and will be extended

Northampton (Hybrid - 2 days in the office)

Business Analyst will be to join the BAPM team (Business Analyst) to support the requirements analysis and implementation of new requirements for critical projects across the FX business.

You will be expected to:

•Work closely with business users from front office sales and trading, operations, risk and product control to develop and document business requirements

•Write detailed business and integration requirements documents using the Confluence/Wiki based documentation approach aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology

•Work closely with developers, test team and delivery managers to develop the design and ensure the developed software meets the requirements

•Obtain formal sign-off of business requirements from all key project stakeholders and ensuring traceability throughout the development cycle as requirements evolve

•Assist in all relevant stages of the Project's lifecycle including analysis, design, test & deployment/go-live

What we're looking for:

•Emerging Markets experience gained in Middle Office/Ops/Product Control/Business Mgt. role

•Knowledge of FX Electronic Trading, including pricing, trade flows and processes

•Experience of bringing new products/capabilities to market F2B

•Ability to write high quality Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specs that are clear and concise enough for both traders and developers to follow

•Ability to build strong relationships with the Middle Office, Operations, Compliance and Technology

Skills that will help you in the role:

•Technical knowledge or experience would be helpful e.g. sql

•Experience in agile project delivery

•Knowledge of FIX protocol

•Product knowledge – Bonds/TRS/Financing
