Fire and Compliance Advisor

£40,000 - £46,500

Shirley Parsons have exclusively partnered with Aston Villa Football Club, who are looking to appoint a confident, engaging and experienced Fire Safety professional. This is a full time position, where you will support the Head of Health and Safety to ensure Fire Safety compliance. A level of flexibility with working hours is needed, as ad hoc evening and weekend work will be required.

The Fire and Compliance Advisor will be responsible for:

• Delivering a structured review of the FRA programme
• Being the main point of contact for all questions and queries regarding fire safety
• Designing and delivering a range of fire safety training
• Building strong working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including the Head of H&S, Projects teams and local fire service

The Fire and Compliance Advisor will have:

• Minimum Level 3 Fire Safety Certificate (Essential)
• Minimum Level 3 Health and Safety Certificate (Essential)
• Experience of managing fire safety issues in a complex environment (Essential)
• Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of legislation, standards and best practice in fire safety.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to write and present reports.
