    AIE ́s engines deliver high power-to-weight ratio propulsion systems that are reliable, versatile, and cost-efficient. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Engineer. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the required quality standards. The role will involve conducting quality assurance, quality control, and quality management checks.

    The Quality Engineer will work closely with other teams to identify and solve quality-related issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    The Quality Engineer will be expected to perform the following duties:

    Responsibilities:

    Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) under AS9100D requirementsCoordinate and handle New Product Introduction (NPI) related Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities with nominated suppliers, ensuring that all approvals are current and met within milestone dates.

    Utilize good working knowledge of statistical techniques, including route cause analysis, process capability studies, and gauge R&R to support quality objectives.

    Utilize extensive knowledge of Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), 8D (Eight Disciplines) problem-solving method, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to roll out necessary problem-solving techniques for Customers, Internal and suppliers.

    Support the manufacturing quality team by validating permanent actions and changes and reporting them to the customer in 8D format.

    Prepare and implement detailed Control Plans (CPs), Work Instructions (W/Is), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are fully controlled and updated in line with configuration management, Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), and change management systems.


    Experience and Qualification Summary:


    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace industryBachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related fieldExperience in quality engineering and AS9100D implementationStrong knowledge of quality management systems and industry standardsExperience with internal auditing and non-conformance investigationsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with supplier management is a plusExperience with aerospace regulations and standards is preferredPersonal attributes:Work well within a small team and can flex to meet Business demandTeam player with a 'can-do' attitudeDisciplined, with meticulous record keepingClear and succinct verbal and written communicationThe person:Self-motivated with an ability to see what needs doing and do it right.

    Hours and Environment:


    Thirty-eight hours a week, Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (30-minute lunch), Friday, 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
