Health and Safety Officer

What you'll be doing

Developing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing the company's corporate Health and Safety Management policies.
Ensuring accurate and timely production of all statistics and reports required by the IoI Health and Safety Manager, Corporate Management Team of the local H&S Committee to assist them in strategic planning.
Participating in Risk Assessments of activities
Ensuring that appropriate business continuity management plans are developed and implemented.
Demonstrating visible commitment, promoting the health and safety policy aims and objectives throughout their role.
Leading on H&S matters, identifying issues, challenging behaviours and providing concise recommendations.
Conducting trend analysis of relevant H&S data

What you'll need

Hold a Nebosh Certificate Qualification or equivalent in Health and Safety.
Previous experience in a Safety Officer/Advisor role
Previous experience in transport logistics and warehousing as a Health and Safety Officer
Be willing to travel dependent on business needs
Be willing to work outside core contracted hours depending on business needs.
