    Our client, a leading industry provider of precision engineered components are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to be a part of their dedicated team in Burnley. As a Skilled CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in our Machine Shop department manufacturing high quality components in a time & quality fitting with the company standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • up tools and load materials onto CNC machines.
    • various types of CNC machinery.
    • machining of components according to engineering drawings.
    • tools & parts, ensuring all machined parts meet company specifications.
    • all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
    • to continuous improvement projects.
    • a clean and safe working environment.
    • to lean theory principles and practice 5S principles.

    Skills and Abilities

    • to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
    • in operating computer equipment for data management.
    • to read & understand engineering drawings /quality plans.
    • in using a variety of measuring equipment.
    • approach to work systems with a focus on standards and established procedures.
    • to make informed decisions and implement changes within specified boundaries.
    • written & verbal communication abilities.
    • to follow instructions and adapt to changing work demands.

    Experience/Knowledge

    • served engineer or equivalent qualification.
    • in machine programming using Fanuc/Okuma/Mazak CNC controls.
    • experience with tight tolerance machining.
    • with machining metal in various forms (e.g., billet, castings, pressings) is advantageous.
