One of our clients is currently seeking a General Manager for their site based near High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.This role will support the Director in running the office support functions, inventory management and to also act as a fulcrum between operationsand a small portfolio of key customers within the food sector.
The core duties will include but not be limited to:- Responsibility for office, inventory and customer management for the business
- Focus on oversight of operations and ensuring customer account management runs smoothly for 5 10 key accounts
- Support in onboarding of potential new customers
- Oversight of credit control and debt management
- Oversight of payroll and stuff budgets
- Oversight of stock control and distribution
- Supporting the Director with key account management
- Handling daytoday customer related issues and queries
- Supervising the backoffice team and working with senior stakeholders across engineering, commercial and production
- 35 years' experience leading site operations within a manufacturing facility having multiple functions
- Knowledge of basic Health and Safety compliance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong Leadership skills coupled with handson experience in operations
- Proven achievements in enhancing production efficiencies, streamlining processes and improving revenue streams
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good influencing and negotiation skills
