Interim Head of Commercial Finance

6 months contract - Possibility of Temp to Perm

£650-750pd Inside IR35

Working Mode: Full Time - Hybrid - 2 days at the office

Broadgate Search are pleased to be partnered with an esteemed organisation in the Education Sector who require an Interim Head of Commercial Finance for a 6 month contract. This is a business critical hire to lead a team providing strategic financial support to key areas, foster relationships with stakeholders, inspire high performance, and ensure financial decisions are well-informed.

Responsibilities:

• Build trust and understanding with stakeholders, collaborating to support strategic direction.
• Lead a high-performing team, ensuring financial performance management across disciplines.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and decision support to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure rigorous financial planning and compliance with policies and standards.
• Drive capability building through coaching, training, and promoting financial sustainability principles.
• Provide accurate financial information and business intelligence to support decision-making, budget setting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure budget holders understand their finances and financial drivers.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to support business activities and requirements.
• Review and provide input to business cases and strategic documentation.

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong stakeholder management skills, strong attention to detail, resilience, management team experience, influence, strategy approach, and strong soft skills.
• Possibility of temp to perm.
• MUST be qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Evidence of Senior experience.
• Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
